Vera Jackson Alum Opens Private Practice

Ashley Beatty McGurkin recently started her own private practice in North Carolina. Queen City Counseling & Consulting provides mental health services to adolescents in the Charlotte area.

Ashley graduated Lumpkin County High School, and received the Vera Jackson Scholarship to attend the University of Georgia where she majored in Psychology. She went on to receive her MSW from Winthrop University. Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been practicing in the field for 13 years.

We are excited for Ashley (pictured below on left with co-owner Amy Gregor) as she begins this journey of “empowering young minds through healing and wellness.” To learn more about Queen City Counseling & Consulting, visit www.qc-counseling.com.
