Terry Hartman Receives GCF Impact Award

The Georgia Community Foundation Board of Directors met last month to discuss program results and plans for the future. During the meeting, Terry Hartman was recognized for her retirement from her service as Vera Jackson Program Director for over twenty years. She received the GCF Impact Award in recognition of her immeasurable influence on the lives of Vera Jackson Scholars.

Lisa Kelly, Director of GCF, presented the award to Terry, stating “The most important factor in the success of this scholarship program is the Director of the Program since the very early days it was established. Her interest in each student and her attentive mentoring in tough times made a difference in their lives that is hard to quantify.”
