Friedman Foundation Report on GOAL Parent Survey Results

Why do parents choose private schools for their children? What information do they consider to be important in making their choices?

These are the questions answered by GOAL Scholarship parents and analyzed in a new report released today by the Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice.

The report reveals that school climate and classroom management, not standardized test scores, are important to parents choosing private schools. It concludes that the best way to achieve accountability in K-12 education is parental choice, not the standardization of public and private schools.
